As you can see every time there is a sale, an email comes out, so all the time I am receiving this feedback that is invaluable for my business, realizing why people bought is more important than why they did not, (of course It would be interesting to know the opposite), especially since there are multiple reasons why people cannot buy and we cannot have control over them.
In this way, knowing the reasons why a purchase was made is really a great benefit for any business, this way you can improve your copy, refine the small details. For example, these are some of the responses I have received:
The Results Provide Great Customer Insight
“I have read all the contents, and I liked them a lot especially because I will learn a lot about how to create Websites without technical knowledge, it is really great, I will take advantage of all the material that is provided, thank you very much”
“Customize autoresponder and schedule newsletter sequence”
“Reason: The information is very complete, I can make money quickly, also the products that can be found to market and how to create my site from scratch”
“How to sell ClickBank products”
“I have bought many courses, but the ones I have read here have convinced me that I can create my own online business, I am very excited, I will be watching what follows”
What You Can Learn
Let’s get to work, let’s see in this example, what we can learn from it
I have a lot of newbies who don’t have a web site of their own. I should continue to highlight this feature.
Users like the fact that there is a ton of information that helps them make sales. It means they get multiple chances to sell. Perhaps I should promote this more.
Look at the last message. This is evidence of how important follow-up is. This person waited 3 months before she felt comfortable ordering.
Any guarantee is very important.
This is only a small sample of what I receive, and to reflect on all the things that can be done, everything how we can react to please customers, how to use the tools as an autoresponder, or the affiliate plans with which work and all that should be reflected in the sales letter.
What can you find out?
In all cases, if you have an email from a customer, request feedback information, who better than them can provide you with the best information to keep them happy.
When is the best time to send this request?
I realized that I had better results once the purchase had been made if you let more time pass, it is like the food, it cools and does not taste the same, I do this once the thank you email has been sent.
It is understood that the reasons that the customer has will be fresh and with emotion that always involves a purchase, and therefore there is very good cooperation on their part to help.
How to reply: I love when you can automate things and I include a button or sometimes with a simple link that will immediately encourage them to respond.
It says so:
“Thank you for helping out with your input. I really appreciate it. I look forward to helping you make more money with this information.”
That’s all you need, remember you should be sure to acknowledge their answers with a reply.
In summary, following up on your ads is vitally important to know where your business is positioned, as the autoresponder messages will let you know how valuable your business is. Implement this technique and give yourself the opportunity to better understand what works best for you, use knowledge to adjust the details, and maximize conversions.
It’s the holy grail of internet marketing. You own a few web sites selling a few different products. Once you’ve got them set up, each is supposed to make you money.
And the key is, they are supposed to run on autopilot. So you only spend a little time running each one.
Well, the idea is great. But implementing it is a lot harder. Do you know what seems to be the hardest? Actually making money without spending 100 hours a day.
There are so many things to do:
Find a profitable affiliate product or create a product
Create the web site
Find a web host
Write all the sales copy
Create and build an email list
Write an autoresponder series or newsletter
Get testimonials (HOW – when you haven’t sold anything?)
Handle refunds and chargebacks
Answer emails from prospects
Market your site
The list goes on and on. Are people really doing all this in minutes a day while they golf, lounge, and play with their kids?
Well, I suppose a few are. But many of us are hard at work building for the future.
I know I’m working really hard at this. But then again, it’s my full-time job. And I really enjoy it.
**** This Makes It Easy ****
I want to tell you about a way to add an income stream that eliminates everything on that list but one. Seriously.
Look at that list again and imagine someone else doing everything on that list for you, delegating tasks, this is the way to grow, to scale, to focus on key business issues.
Maybe you’ve seen it. Maybe you did a little shopping in some of them. If you are on the lookout for multiple streams of income, you should look at Website blogs or Online Stores.
Website Blogs are great, but it also requires having effective strategies so that you do not become a slave to your own businesses.
I want to give you some tips on what works and what doesn’t when you are promoting affiliate programs.
I learned this stuff from books I’ve read, seminars I’ve attended, “Gurus” , and most of all because I’ve tested it.
I’ll be blunt. For the most part, gimmick traffic doesn’t generate results.
I’ve tried this gimmick traffic. It was a waste of time.
You can spend hours submitting to free classified ad sites, adding your link to directory pages, and signing up for “Guaranteed Hits” programs.
And worst of all, buying so-called “Qualified, opt-in” email names when they come on a CD or cost any amount of money for 5 million names.
I haven’t heard anyone say these tactics work except the people promoting them. The problem is the quality is just too low.
At the end of the day, very few of us really share the “secrets” to make money, many of these tricks surely worked with great success for the one who came up with it, but once they were no longer so profitable, that’s when they expose them and they sell on ebooks or very expensive courses.
And there may be thousands of stories of how those tricks arose and were exploited, their problem is that they violate Google’s policies, consequently, Google modifies its algorithm and no longer allows those strategies to be profitable.
It is very tempting and attractive to see these tricks and try to use them to take advantage of them, some very ingenious ones that worked for some years, ranging from creating link farms to directories, article sites, and literally one day to another stopped working.
For those who did not live it, imagine, having a website with tens and thousands of articles, scattered everywhere on the internet that had links pointing to your website, that positioned you for many keywords with a lot of traffic.
Suddenly from one day to the next as if you turned off the light switch, the traffic stopped, your profits automatically went to 0, in the best case you will have some traffic but the minimum profits.
It is as it is currently happening with the pandemic, except that once it passes, we can recover the traffic.
And the question is, ¿was it worth it?, risking so much time and work to have to start over.
Times change and the advice is to avoid any Blackhat trick or strategy, stay away from that if you really want to have a long-term prosperous business.
Low quality = Low sales It’s an immutable law of marketing.
So what does work? Are there free tactics that are effective?
You bet. They take a bit of effort, but they can work wonders. And once your project is done, you can reap traffic for months or even years.
I’ll be talking about several of these in the next few issues.
One of the best ways is to write articles, reports, or videos. The key is to provide value.
The highly effective way is to have a blog. It sounds hard, but there are systemized ways to do this and be extremely effective.
The fact is, techniques like this are what separates internet marketers from SUCCESSFUL Internet Marketers. It’s what can differentiate you from everyone else.
Where is Your Traffic?
If you are an experienced internet marketer, you can skip this one 🙂
If you are a brand newbie or haven’t made any money online yet, this is for you…
One of the most common questions I’ve seen users ask both on blogs and by email I get is something like this:
I’m a newbie to this internet marketing thing.
What do I have to do to get traffic?
Well, there are a few things you should know:
There is no magic system that makes money go to your bank account without any work, period.
You can have money in your bank account once you have learned the business, it will take some time but it will be worth it.
You won’t be successful if you keep buying “programs” and “systems” and “opportunities” without understanding the business first.
If you believe me here, read on. And if not, you can keep looking for the “Magic System“.
(If you find one, please let me know about it. I’ve been doing online marketing since the web started and I haven’t found it yet:)
The point I’m trying to make is that you need to learn the basics first before you spend (and waste) a bunch of money on scams, ineffective techniques, and bogus advertising.
Look at it this way. If you don’t understand the basics, how can you possibly know what you are buying?
If you wonder what you should do next, the first thing is that you should feed enough knowledge about the business and how it operates in your head, so you know what you have to do next.
And if you have to ask, you don’t really know enough to be wisely spending your own money.
Now I’m not talking about reading 173 free reports from so-called “gurus” who have never made a dime on the internet and whose reports are nothing but commercials to buy more stuff.
I’m talking about investing in yourself. I’m talking about feeding that incredible creation known as your brain with real, useful knowledge. I’m talking about learning what works and what doesn’t.
From someone who really knows.
Does this make sense to you?
Does it make sense that without the facts you are walking in the dark?
Does it make sense that you want to learn from a really good teacher?
I thought so. Because if you aren’t sure about your teacher, you can’t have faith in what you’re being taught.
Remember the original question?
I’m a newbie to this internet marketing thing.
What do I have to do to get traffic?
My answer is to learn as much as you can about this business from successful people who are good teachers.
Then you will know what to do.
Then you will understand what works and what doesn’t.
Then you won’t waste money on scams and programs that will never work.
I will try to have all the material on this site to make it easy for you, but it is good that you consult on the outside, that you compare, and feed on all the possible knowledge.
To an extent, as high-quality content is absolutely necessary.
Especially in today’s overcrowded online world where every man and his dog is shouting for your prospects’ attention.
Your content must stand out in order to grab your audience by the (eye)balls.
Think about it, who’s going to buy a product from you if your content is junk?
But here’s the thing; low-quality content ain’t worth shit!
And worse still; content that doesn’t persuade your readers to take action is worthless.
Because content for content sake is pointless.
Because the aim of your content should be to nudge the reader to the next step (i.e. deeper into your world such as joining your email list or purchasing your product).
Which brings me to my very direct point:
Content isn’t King.
COPYwriting is King.
And there’s a difference.
Copywriting means writing content that persuades your audience to take action.
Taking action to join your email list, click your link, buy your product, or whatever you ask them to do.
And it’s the most powerful skill you can ever learn if you want to build a lucrative online income.
You must learn…
– How To Write So Vividly Your Reader Can TASTE Your Words.
– How To Double Your Conversions With A Simple Language.
– How To Craft Content That Grabs Your Readers By The Eyes.
– One Stupidly Simple Stunt To Supercharge Your Weak & Uninspiring Writing.
Raise your website sales with ToFu, BoFu & MoFu
So you’ve decided to start a niche site and plan to make money with affiliate marketing.
What type of content do you plan to publish?
Let me guess.
More product reviews
And of course, show some other similar products and compare them to show certain advantages of the one you want to promote.
How did I realize this?
Because I was reading comments, like the one below, in many comments of websites…
“I have an web site with product reviews, is correct to write more filler content”
If you think that the only thing that is worth is the product reviews and that other content will only be a decoration to fill your site, you are very wrong, you are on the wrong path and your content strategy sucks!
This is what has been in fashion among the new affiliate marketers (There are hundreds of sites if you like looking for them you will get tired of seeing them)
For many of these affiliates, the website is only for making money and they believe that the only way to do it according to them is to do product reviews and everything else is not worth it, this is totally incorrect.
Unfortunately, for these entrepreneurs, the vast majority of these sites do not achieve their goals, do not generate much money, unless they invest in ads and spend a lot of money on advertising trying to get sales.
Not to say that when they advertise, they lose too much money trying to solve the problem, instead of investing in a good content strategy that would have been more profitable.
There are a couple of truths to this:
People are not going to buy you just by looking at product reviews, before that you have to earn their trust, you have to show that you are trustworthy, so after you have the authority they will accept your recommendations.
On the other hand, it will cost a lot more work to get links to your website and to be able to positioning for keywords with a good amount of traffic for your niche, if you only focus on creating product reviews.
To build trust and get conversions from totally unknown leads, and get these customers to repeat, affiliate marketers should not just create product reviews and sales-related content.
They also create and develop content-focused sales funnels, using ToFu, Bofu, MoFu content. If you are not familiar with these terms, don’t worry.
ToFu, MoFu, and BoFu stand for top-of-funnel, middle-of-funnel, and bottom-of-funnel, respectively.
You need to know exactly what is a content marketing funnel, why affiliate marketers need it more than ever before, and how you can create one for your site.
“The Mentalist” Marketing
Quit trying to sell products!
Seriously, you are a marketer and not a used car salesman.
Selling isn’t your job.
Why? Because marketing and selling are different.
Leave the hard selling to the shady used car salesman.
As a marketer, your job is to play “The Mentalist” and use your detective skills to discover the burning problems your prospect has.
Then show them how your product solves that problem.
Do this by showing…
How your product alleviates their pain or suffering.
How your product makes their life easier or faster.
How your product increases their happiness levels or reduces their stress levels.
The most common reasons people buy relate to:
Making or saving money
Acquiring more time/saving time
Enjoying more pleasure
Obtaining increased comfort
So don’t waffle on about product features and pro’s and con’s.
No one really cares about what your product does.
They care only about how it benefits them when they use it.
Here’s the deal…
95%+ of people who click your affiliate links / view your sales page don’t convert into sales because you failed to solve their problems.
Simply because you’ve failed to show them how they’ll benefit from owning the product and the impact that will have on their life.
You’ll no doubt be aware that 99% of aspiring marketers are struggling to get any results from their actions and the vast majority will never make any money from online marketing.
These lack of results are for multiple reasons but one major fundamental issue nearly all aspiring marketers share is that they lack any deep understanding of their target audience and niche having only done the most basic of research (such as looking at keyword competition, compiling a list of websites in their niche, examining what other sites are writing about, and looking at the most popular products on Amazon for example).
Sure, all this fundamental research is fine however, its super basic and literally, everyone and anyone can and does do this type of research so you are not uncovering anything about your target audience that the rest of your competition does not know too.
Moreover, knowing this basic information does not help you effectively market to your target audience which means you make little to no money in your business.
Here’s the thing, you need to uncover your audiences deepest darkest fears from deep inside the crevices of their mind if you want people to throw money at you hand over first.
How to Steal Your Competition’s Secrets
How to easily find all the best competitors in your niche.
This is essential so you can find out…
Who you can network with.
Where to get traffic from.
To get inspiration from (for content ideas, products, etc.)
Which content is popular to emulate it?
To reverse engineer your competition (and steal their secrets).
How to avoid saying and doing the exact same things they do, (the key to domination is to stand out).
Niche Research is Boring and Stupid; But
I am going to be blunt with you….
Niche research is boring and it is stupid.
We both know this.
We do not enjoy doing it, true?
Nope, not even me…
Seriously, I’ve got better things to be doing and I know you do too.
However, without proper niche research, you won’t pick the right profitable niches.
In addition, if you pick the wrong niches that means you won’t profit from them.
Ultimately that means continuing to struggle to make ends meet at a job you have to drag yourself out of bed to go to every day…
…working 50+ hours a week at somewhere, you don’t want to be.
Just so, you can make enough to survive and cover the basics. Forget about vacations or treating your family.
I know that’s now what you want.
I know there’s no way I could go back to that life, I hated the daily grind, and I honestly believe that everyone should have the freedom to choose how their day-to-day life is lived
If you want to stay in bed until 11 am some days you should be able to, not having to force yourself up early doors especially on cold dark mornings.
If you want to stay at home and have time with your family then you should have that option not having to spend all day at the office doing mind-numbing work you couldn’t care less about.
If you want to take a few days to break somewhere then it should be possible without worrying about getting time off work and how you’ll afford it.
Sadly, most people don’t have that option and it’s about time we changed that.
It’s time to pick profitable niches and make money from them.
Thankfully, there is an alternative to all this stupidly boring niche research.
Just pick a niche, start now the research, for you, for your future.
Inaction Leads to One Thing: Staying Trapped
I occasionally hear from users before finally taking the plunge to join to some course that I recommend and 99% of the time, they can’t believe they waited so long and are glad they finally took action.
They literally kick themselves for their delayed action as even though they really want to join and know it’ll be beneficial they procrastinate on every offer I make until it’s too late, say “next time” and put it off till “tomorrow” which of course never comes, it’s just a means of avoiding responsibility and taking action.
Moreover, inaction can only lead to one thing; staying trapped in the exact same painful, stressful, and or less than happy situation you find yourself in now.
In addition, if you’re saying…
“I’m not trapped in any sort of unhappy situation” then I find that hard to believe because people who don’t have any pain, discomfort, unhappiness or worries in their life rarely go hunting on the internet for “how to make money online”.
Think about it; both you and I searched out online marketing because we were/are dissatisfied with life and wanted to find an escape from the daily grind and challenges of life.
In addition, to experience more time, freedom, money, and happiness among other things.
Or at least it’s true for me and most of the tribe members I speak to anyway. Does it ring true for you?
And here’s the “secret” in my opinion…
I believe a commitment to ONE system/course/plan is the key to online marketing success as this keeps you focused and holds you accountable to working through the training material, most people are jumping around from shiny object to shiny object too easily or have no skin in the game.
And what’s worse; we’re also reaching the middle stages of the year so it’s time to take fast action and end this year on a high rather than with the usual broken promises to yourself and unfulfilled dreams that will occur if you do nothing.
So if you’re ready for action ASAP and getting one-step closer to freedom then commit to something today…
Understanding the Strategic Objective of Your Business
A common problem new marketers face (and even sometimes those who have been successfully marketing for a while) is that they lack any clear strategy for their business.
This is simply because they have no clear idea of what the purpose of each part of their business is or what it’s supposed to achieve.
Therefore, this post is designed to give you a “birds-eye” overview of what each section of your business from website to traffic to an email list to social groups and beyond is designed to do.
Why? Therefore, you can effectively manage each section and see that it’s performing correctly and pushing all your visitors in the right direction with the aim of them becoming paying customers through offering them the solutions to their problems.
Remember, that is your core goal as a business; to solve your audience’s problems and make money in the process.
It’s a simple exchange of value, people have problems they need to be solved and they are willing to spend money on solutions that make their lives easier / happier / better / faster / less stressful (etc. etc. etc.) so if you can offer these solutions they will exchange that solution for their money.
Keep this in mind at all times when deciding what actions to take in your business.
How to Build a Passive Subscription Income
What’s the holy grail of income? Of course…
It’s subscription-based income that’s generated on autopilot without on-going work on your part every month.
You’ve no doubt realized; if you have a recurring subscription aspect with your online website then you aren’t required to endlessly hustle for sales day in day out.
Nor are you reliant on generating one-off affiliate sales every month and praying the Google Gods don’t destroy your rankings, cutting out your traffic, and eliminating your sales in an instant.
Recurring subscription income gives you the stability of earnings and a fixed income every month to grow from. Customers that joined your subscription plan in previous months (or even years) keep sending you payments on autopilot every month without you chasing them.
Seriously, subscriptions account for around 90% of my income and I’m not hustling every month to generate those sales…it’s automated and it’s the lifeline of my business.
You’re an emotional wreck.
Seriously, we all are, and here’s why…
Endless Psychological studies have proved that we make decisions based on emotion then use logic to justify our emotional decisions.
So you must appeal to your prospect’s emotions (and justify with logic) if you want them to buy what you’re selling.
You can’t simply list facts, features, and specifications or even just benefits if you want to sell something.
You need to tap into the emotion(s) your prospect is feeling.
In this lesson you’ll learn; the different emotions you can use, examples of them being used in real promotions, and learn how to use them effectively in your own marketing to drive action from your reader.
Let’s explore the different emotions humans experience and how to use them in your marketing to drive more action, solve more problems, and make more money.
How to Eavesdrop On Your Audience
Let’s delve into the process for uncovering your audience’s deepest darkest secrets, fears, hopes, dreams and desires…
…so that we can use it to ethically help them solve their problems, which will make them happy to hand over their cash to you (everyone loves getting their problems solved).
It’s simply a case of going to the social hubs, and forums where your audience hangs out and “eavesdrop” on people’s conversations (when people are speaking on their own free will rather than being asked a question or studied you’ll get the best answers).
Then studying their posts (the long angry rants and argument threads are usually the best) to discover the emotions they feel daily, the beliefs they hold, the pains and problems they are exposed to daily, the pleasure they’d like to experience instead, and the status levels they aspire to.
Do the gurus have insider secrets?
“Do you think the gurus have secrets they aren’t sharing with you?” I can imagine your answer as many have thought…
“YES, of course, they do if they shared them they would be out of business”
“YES, that’s why they are successful because they know the insider secrets”
Most people seem to genuinely believe that the key to online marketing success is knowing “secrets”.
And I can sort-of understand why you would think that.
However, I’m here to break this news to you…
I have no idea if there are any real “secrets” in online marketing and doubt there are.
I certainly have never stumbled across or been told any secrets from the “gurus” (not that I know any gurus personally anyway).
So maybe I’m just not part of the “old boys” club and that’s why I don’t know the secrets, right?
Well, the good news is without knowing any secrets I’ve still been successful with online business and live a financially comfortable life.
Seriously, here’s everything that’s worked for me…
Using common sense, putting in hard work, and learning fundamental marketing strategies.
As opposed to focusing on fads, tactics, shiny objects, loopholes, and gimmicks, which is sadly what a lot of marketers teach.
Any “secrets” (i.e. knowledge) you do discover simply comes from experience and learning and testing.
So genuinely, I don’t believe in “guru secrets” and think if you cling to that notion, you’ll forever stay trapped and looking for secrets that don’t exist.
Cast aside this bullsh*t myth about secrets and get down to work instead.
I share all my marketing “secrets” (stuff I’ve learned through trial and error) on this blog, I hope they are useful in the course of your learning.
Think about it, the internet is just like a gas station on a busy highway.
It’s a highway (traffic source) to bring customers to your gas (your product).
The gas station doesn’t “make money from the highway”.
The highway simply brings customers past the gas station.
And those customers have a problem that the gas station solves.
In that, they have an empty fuel tank and need to fill it up or they can’t get to their destination.
Does this seem obvious to you?
Then tell me this…
Why is it that most struggling internet marketers don’t grasp this concept online?
Because If you’re spending all your time building a shiny new gas station (your website) but your gas station is in any area where there’s no cars and no one needs gas….
…then you’re completely wasting your time building the gas station as no one is ever going to visit.
Which brings me to my point…
Simply creating a website, writing some content, and adding some affiliate links pointing to random products is like building a shiny new gas station.
But if your website doesn’t solve any major problem your visitor experiences on a daily basis that makes their life difficult or painful then they aren’t going to spend any money with you as people buy products which solve their problems and /or make their lives easier.
Just like the gas station on the highway wouldn’t make any money selling gas if everyone had full gas tanks or there were no cars.
And don’t be a pedantic f*cker and say “but gas stations sell other stuff too” as you get the point I’m trying to make.
To hammer this point home one final time…
Anyone can set up a shiny gas station (or in your case a website).
But that alone doesn’t make money.
Existing and being open isn’t enough.
You need to be offering products that solve your audience’s problems if you want to make money from your website.
Marketing is simply about finding people with problems and offering them solutions in the form of a product.
And not just about putting up a website with content and affiliate links and hoping someone gives you some of their hard-earned cash.
As people don’t actually buy products they buy the END RESULT that they believe the product will give them (in the case of the gas it will take them to their end destination).
There’s just one thing left to do…
Learn how to pump your bank balance full of cash by solving problems.
Before going into all the tools that are required and how we must configure them, we must start with basic aspects, so as not to make certain mistakes that in the long run can harm us and cost very dearly, both in time and in other resources.
First of all, the obligatory question is: Why do we want to create a blog?
If the answer is, to have a hobby, or for something without great importance then skip this guide and go to wordpress.com, Wix or any other platform and start writing and don’t worry about anything, as they would say in my town, as the donkey played the flute.
But if your answer is because I want to have a solid business, create my own brand, write about a topic that I master or somehow find a way to monetize my knowledge, then you are in the right place, read on and here you will learn how to start creating your blog or website on the right foot.
12 things to consider before starting your blog
What is the Objective?
We must start by defining the objective of our Blog, in order to know in some way the resources that we are going to use or need to develop my Blog.
We are going to present the following idea, that we want to write about a topic and that I also want to
If you are barely interested in using WordPress and you do not know if it is a reliable platform, I will give you some information so you can convince yourself that it is the best option.
There are many reasons why I can recommend you to use WordPress, these are just some and perhaps not the most important, each person has their priorities and needs, which for me may be important for others, maybe not, hopefully, you will find in this article the information you need to make a good decision.
Maybe it is not the most important but it is Free!
We all like free things, don’t you?
You can say there are many platforms for me to have my website and they are also free.
And you are correct, but there is a lot of difference in the services you are provided and it is where you have to pay close attention.
We will always need web hosting to host our website, we cannot have it on our computer.
We also need to put a name on it, so we need to buy a domain.
What is usually offered on many platforms are the 3 things and they tell you that it is free, the trick, because there is always some detail is you have to accept something in return.
There are different ways they offer you this type of service and offering you the service for free is a hook for you to stay with them permanently.
These small details can range from accepting advertising, either a banner of the same brand, or third-party advertisements.
If you wanted to remove those annoying ads then you will have to pay a fee.
Other providers are more patient and are willing to wait for you to succeed before you can start charging.
When we start in these Internet businesses our website will not receive visits, so for the provider, it does not represent any problem, it is having a
